The Greene Town Center Beavercreek Ohio
A fun filled night at The Greene in Beavercreek, Ohio turned out to be exactly what I had in mind for a perfect Thursday night. A nice steak dinner followed by a stroll around the Greene before sitting down to watch “This Means War” starring Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine & Tom Hardy at Cinemark The Greene and IMAX.
Restaurants At The Greene Town Center
The Greene Towne Center in Beavercreek, Ohio is home to one of my new favorite restaurants in the Dayton area, Flemings Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar. I had the luxury of sitting down for a delicious steak dinner, glass of red wine, and some of the best Creme Brulee I’ve ever had. I would rank Flemings right up there with Ruth’s Chris and Mortons of Chicago in terms of taste, selection and service. After speaking to some of the wonderful staff and learning that Flemings offers a mid-day to early evening food & drink special called “5 For $6 ’Til 7,” you may not be able to keep me out of there! The “5 For $6 Til 7” daily special consists of 5 cocktails, 5 wines by the glass and 5 appetizers. These are all $6 each and served at the bar until 7 PM.
Rave Cinemas At The Greene
After dinner and a short walk around the Greene, we headed to “Rave Cinemas” to watch Reese Witherspoon’s new movie “This Means War.” To be honest, I wasn’t nearly as impressed with the movie as I was with the steak dinner at Flemings. Not even Oscar-winner Reese Witherspoon could hold our attention in this 2 hour long “date movie for suckers.” I quickly figured out there was an empty plot – the movie was really just a guessing game of who the director wanted you to root for: the guy with the really well groomed eyebrows (Chris Pine) or the other guy with the really well groomed eyebrows (Tom Hardy) – who happens to also be his partner and nemesis.
Another Great Night At The Greene in Beavercreek Ohio
As you all know, I’m a Realtor, not a movie critic. And truthfully, romantic comedies really aren’t my “type” of movies! Still, we had a great time at Flemings and Rave Cinemas. It’s so easy to get caught up in the hectic schedules of our daily lives – work, responsibilities, maintaining a home, etc… A regular “date night” to the Greene is the perfect opportunity to release the stress and focus on the happiness. I know this is a real estate blog- but I hope you don’t mind me sharing these little stories with you. I really love our community – and I think that’s one of the most important things to consider when looking for real estate!
