The Oregon Historic District was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. The historic Oregon District is the oldest neighborhood in Dayton Ohio and consists of twelve city blocks. The Oregon District was home to some Dayton Ohio’s very first residents. Today, the Oregon District is an active urban playground for businesses and homeowners alike.
